Cbet Terms and Conditions

The clauses below formed the agreement between Cbet and each registered account holder, covering eligibility, funds, promotional offers, prohibited conduct and dispute resolution. Opening an account constituted acceptance of them in full.

Eligibility and registration

An account holder had to be at least eighteen years old, or older where local law demanded — nineteen across most Canadian provinces, eighteen in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Misstating age was grounds for immediate closure and forfeiture of any balance derived from underage play.

One account per person, household, email address, payment instrument, device and IP address was permitted. Duplicate registrations were consolidated or closed at the operator's discretion, and any promotional value obtained through them was reversible.

Residents of jurisdictions where remote gaming was prohibited, or which fell outside the scope of licence 365/JAZ, were not eligible regardless of technical ability to reach the site. Using a VPN, proxy or falsified address to bypass territorial controls was a breach in itself and voided the affected wagers.

Registration data had to be accurate and kept current. Withdrawals were conditional on completing identity verification, and a name mismatch between the account and the payment instrument blocked payment until resolved.

Deposits, withdrawals and account balances

Funds had to originate from a payment instrument held in the account holder's own name. Third-party deposits were rejected and returned to source, and repeated attempts were treated as a suspected fraud indicator.

Deposited funds were intended for play. Cycling money in and out without meaningful wagering activity could attract a processing charge or trigger a source-of-funds review, and withdrawal requests were subject to anti-money-laundering screening before release.

Payouts were returned through the original deposit route wherever technically possible. Processing times varied by method and could be extended while verification was outstanding or while a security review was open on the account.

Player funds were not deposit-insured and did not earn interest. Following the bankruptcy of AK Global N.V. in January 2025, balances remaining on closed accounts became claims within the insolvency estate rather than obligations recoverable from the platform.

Promotions, bonuses and wagering requirements

Every offer carried its own published conditions — qualifying deposit, wagering multiplier, contribution rate by game category, maximum stake while a bonus was active, maximum convertible winnings and an expiry window. Those specific conditions took precedence over general marketing copy describing the same offer.

Bonus funds were spent after cash funds unless the offer stated otherwise, and an outstanding wagering requirement had to be met before withdrawal. Requesting a withdrawal while a bonus remained unconverted forfeited the bonus and any winnings attributable to it.

Strategies designed to extract value without genuine risk — low-margin or hedged betting patterns, coordinated play between linked accounts, exploiting a pricing or game malfunction, or serial bonus-only registration — constituted abuse. Confirmed abuse allowed cancellation of the offer, removal of associated winnings and, in serious cases, closure of the account.

Offers were capped at one per person or household unless expressly stated, were not transferable, and could be withdrawn or amended at any time for future participation without affecting offers already validly claimed.

Prohibited conduct and game integrity

Automated play, bots, scripts, emulators and any tool designed to interfere with random number generation or game outcomes were forbidden. So was collusion between account holders, sharing of credentials, and permitting another person to place wagers on an account.

Game results were determined by certified random number generators and, for live titles, by the physical outcome at the studio table. Where a demonstrable malfunction affected a round, that round and any resulting transaction were void, and the position was restored to what it would have been absent the fault.

Abusive, threatening or discriminatory conduct towards support staff or live dealers led to restriction or termination. Chat facilities were not a channel for advertising, soliciting other players or distributing links.

Interruptions caused by maintenance, connectivity loss, provider outages or regulatory direction did not entitle an account holder to compensation beyond settlement of wagers already validly concluded.

Complaints, liability and governing law

Disputes were to be raised first with the support team, in writing, within a defined period of the disputed event, with the account reference and relevant transaction identifiers. Unresolved matters could then be escalated internally and, failing that, to the Curaçao Gaming Control Board as the authority supervising licence 365/JAZ.

Server-side transaction and game logs were the definitive record of play and took precedence over screenshots, client-side displays or recollection. Obvious errors in odds, payout tables or displayed balances were correctable retrospectively, with affected transactions adjusted to the correct figure.

Liability was limited to the amount held in the relevant account at the time the claim arose, and indirect, consequential or lost-opportunity losses were excluded to the fullest extent the law permitted. Nothing purported to exclude liability that could not lawfully be excluded.

The agreement was governed by the law of Curaçao, without prejudice to consumer protections that Canadian residents retained under the mandatory law of their province. With cbet.gg closed since 30 March 2026, no operational complaints channel remains, and outstanding matters fall to the regulator and the insolvency administrators of AK Global N.V.

Where to find help

  • Curaçao Gaming Control Board — supervisory authority for licence 365/JAZ, for unresolved complaints against the operator
  • Insolvency administrators of AK Global N.V., for claims concerning account balances outstanding at closure
  • Provincial consumer protection office in your Canadian province or territory, for questions about local remedies

This document is preserved as a record of the terms that applied to Cbet accounts and does not create any ongoing offer or contract. The platform ceased trading on 30 March 2026 following the January 2025 bankruptcy of its licensee. Nothing here is legal advice; where these clauses conflict with Curaçao licensing conditions, insolvency law or mandatory Canadian consumer protection, those rules prevail.
